1,000 subscribers: why do YOU read/like TSR?
I always enjoy reading the replies to this question every year or two. Let me know in the comments or an email and I will send out a bunch over the weekend: why do you read or enjoy reading The Spain Report?
The notes? The comments? The context? The politics?
I'm a brand new expat living in Barcelona and I don't have a clue about Spanish politics so I look forward to your topical articles. I'm also reading a book on post-Civil-War and I'm pretty amazed that all of that happened and very few know and understand it today.
I think Michael has expressed exactly the feelings of many of us expats - expats, by the way of many nationalities- who increasingly value the articles we read from Matthew. I have certainly learned a lot regarding Spanish politics, and look forward to learning alot more!
