Local politicians should be resigning and City Hall should publish a list of other premises that have been ordered closed but are still operating.
More details are emerging about the situation with the nightclubs in Murcia prior to the fire on Sunday, as the courts begin the process of investigating 13 counts of negligent manslaughter and hearing initial testimony from witnesses. There should be some more immediate local political and practical consequences here too, as well as longer-term legal ones.
