Comment: the Murcia nightclub fire

The latest reports say two out of the three nightclubs involved in the fire early on Sunday morning, La Fonda and Teatre, did not have the right permits to be open for business, according to Murcia City Hall. Their permits were withdrawn…at the beginning of 2022. A lawyer for La Fonda has told local papers that his client’s club did have a permit…but that the documents went up in smoke in the fire. Teatre is not making any statements about permits.
