Thank you for your great work. I have some question I wanted to get your thoughts on. It seems like the vast majority of words and effort is spent detailing and criticizing the reaction by the right. Very little is spent on the actions of the left. Is Sanchez's deal with Junts really unconstitutional? What does PSOE and Sumar stand for besides not being right of center? Is the right just angry because they lost or do they have any legitimate criticisms? For someone who doesn't live in Spain it is hard to get legitimate, unemotional, unbiased analysis. Thanks again

Well, we have looked at what the judges have said too, and the different comments from the people on the right but, similarly to the Catalan separatism crisis in 2017, there comes a point, now too, when what one side or another keeps SAYING, even if they are perhaps more right logically or theoretically, ceases to matter, at least for a time, because events and timings and power overrun them, and somebody somewher has to DO something, which is why it's always so fascinating to think about what protestors and protest leaders might do beyond the rhetoric or the shouting. Sánchez, of course, acted to become PM, in parliament, via the gazette and before the King. The right will continue to protest but they won't be able to get him out of Moncloa like that, not now. With the amnesty bill, we'll have to see, but the socialists and separatists seem quite convinced for now that they can make a good go of it. The PP will try to delay it in the Senate, and it will end up at the Constitutional Court at some point. Again, possible actions will ultimately be more relevant than what everyone is saying or who is theortecially more right.
