12/ Police in Murcia have arrested the leader of “a buddhist sect”, the Fundación Mahasandi, with a large local country property after an investigation and raid. Drugs, 180 kg of mercury, €90,000, 19 kg of marihuana, a revolver and machete were seized. ABC reports the man had several followers who had abandoned their families and had begun to suffer the effects of mercurcy poisoning.
